What Causes Numbness In Thigh?

My part of my left thigh went numb today. I have diabetes, been diagnosed with early stages of neuropothy. Recently been having heart palpitations. On Metformin, Glipizide (5mg before each meal), Diovan and Chlorthalidone for blood pressure. Past three days, ran out of Glipizide, and been taking horsechestnut for my heart arrythmias...which seem to have stopped the arrythmias, but now my thigh has gone numb. Do I need to worry?
