What Causes Numbness In Thumb Tips And Fingers Of Left Hand?

I have numbness in the tips of the thumb and first finger of my left hand. It goes to the first knuckle. My right hand is fine. I suffer from Type Two Diabetes and high blood pressure. My AC1 is running a little high at 7.8. My blood pressure is under control. Thank you. David Zenkel Rochester, NY

Hello,

It could be a peripheral neuropathy arising out uncontrolled diabetes.

Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. A detailed evaluation is required including nerve conduction study.
