What Causes Numbness On The Face Along With Nausea And Dizziness?

I have SLE and lupus nephritis and protenuria ... dont have recent labwork numbers but can tell you all my medications ... family history ... and my lifestyle or other factors .... anyway ... this is not what im concerned about. I am worried because of other weird symptoms lately episodes of ... facial numbness ... blurred vision ... bad headaches when i cry especially, .... in addtion to other symptoms im told are unrealted to my diagnoses ... nausea ... dizziness ... such as episode of double vision ... rash on ankles like bumps that itch, really itchy skin and rashes with circular like patterns, ....along with my chronic fatique and inability to stay asleep or more than 90 miinutes at a time.

Welcome to HCM,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have numbness on the face along with nausea and dizziness . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, inflammation within the inner ear sometimes due to infection, side effects of certain medications and heart condition, meniere's disease , diabetes, sinusitis and migraines . Sometimes condition like stroke also give such symptoms . For now take steam thrice a day ,avoid bending forward, take proper rest and drink green tea with ginger thrice a day. Protect you skin from sun rays because you have SLE. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order test like rotatory chair test , posturography , blood test and CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with antiemetic drug , decongestant and expectorant . Doctor may refer you to cardiologist for stroke like condition .
