What Causes Numbness On The Face And Severe Headaches?

back in july I got into a big argument with my boyfriend and he yelled at me quite harsh , I kind of froze, my face went numb and got severe ongoing head aches, ive seen a nuerologist and have been given different meds I m currently on zonisamide and have been for about 3 weeks now and have vomited every day and have dropped more weight since she took me off the Topamax and the headaches came back. she took me off the Topamax cause I was nauseas all the time but could eat now I cant eat anything. do you think I should go back to the Topamax? also I did inform her that I was diagnoses as a child with schitzoaffective disorder and had brain seizures with possible DID should I seek a psychiatrist as well for possible relapse? ive dropped almost 35 lbs in 2 months

Yes, you should definitely consult psychiatrist for your symptoms. Possibility of stress, anxiety, panic disorder and depression are more likely in your case. So better to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions. Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution. You will need anxiolytic drugs (propranolol and flunarizine combination) and anti depressant drugs. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm. Don't start topamax by your own. Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
