What Causes Numbness On The Right Hand?

I have semi-numbing hand (right hand). My right shoulder developed rotator cup damage for about six months, and an orthopedic doctor told me to check with physical theraphy people. I made an appointment some time next week for that. In the mean time, whenever I woke up in the morning, I feel sleepy hand symptoms on my right hand for about one week now. I do use C-Pap machine for my sleep apnea problem, and sleep most of the night on my left side. Given my age (77 years old) I wonder whether this could be a sign for potential heart disease problem.

Hi,

It could be because of the injury dear, that some nerve damage has happened and it is causing such symptoms . You can undergo a nerve function test for the same.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
