What Causes Numbness On The Sole Of The Feet?

My doctor doesn t seem to know what s wrong but I seem to be losing the feeling in the balls of my feet and the bottom of my toes. I don t have diabetes but it seems from my research that I have neuropathy. I though it was just dry skin but I ve tried everything and my feet now are about as soft as a babies behind.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be related to neuropathy.

I suggest you see a neurologist and get evaluated.

There are several medications to relieve symptoms such as Gabapentin. They are prescribed medications.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
