What Causes Numbness On The Thighs After A Total Hysterectomy?

Hi, I had endometrial cancer and had a total hysterectomy last week. A day after surgery, I noticed the tops of my thighs were numb. Today, I noticed they were sore and I felt a sort of burning sensation. Is this normal. I had lymph nodes biopsies also.
