What Causes Numbness On Tip Of Tongue?

Hi! I have a weird numbness at the tip of my tongue and today my heart s been feeling racy. Im 36years old. 5 4 and weighing about 105lbs. I forgot the name of it but its benign in my heart, w/how the blood flows and beats. Ive been a light smoker for 17yrs;which I just quit last week w/the help of a generic brand of wellbutrim. Im a college student as well, so i dont know if my body is tired from my pressed schedule and not eating properly that now im beginning to feel the aftermath from not taking better care of myself. Thanks.

Hello,

Sometimes tongue numbness or tingling can be a sign of a stroke or a transient ischemic attack. If you experience any of these symptoms such as weakness or numbness in the arm, leg, or face with he tongue numbness, you should go at the emergency room for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
