What Causes Numbness Over Anterior Thigh Muscle?

Hello doc!!! My friend had a injury in right side lower abdomen near inguinal region!! Rod has been protruded inside and abdomen surgery has been done!! Now his abdomen is completely fine!! Bt he complains of numbness over anterior thigh nd muscle wasting in quadriceps!! On examination he had femoral nerve injury !! In ncs report it was slow conduction velocity in right affected leg!! Now he s taking physical therapy !! How to proceed further ! Is nervijen advised ???

it's all because of femoral nerve damage. so recovery it will take tell. continue physiotherapy. also start vit B12 injection also tablet .it will help in regeneration.
