What Causes Numbness Under The Rib Cage In Right Upper Abdomen?

I am having a numbing sensation under my ribcage, right upper quadrant. Feels numb at times and like a dull pain every once in a while. It is not always constant and occasionally feels tender to the touch. I am not sure if these symptoms are consistent with anything in particular?

Its difficult to say without an exam. This area is sensitive typically, it is also where your liver is, the differential diagnosis can be vast and can be better narrowed with an exam. Please see your provider.
