What Causes Oblong Lump In Between The Buttocks And Vagina?

I have a hard lump under my left butt cheek. It feels about 1-2 inches long and goes from under my butt to the side of my outer labia. It isn t noticeable by sight, no protrusion or redness, i just feel it when I press and it s painful when I press. What do you think this could be?

It is possible that it is an early abscess formation.

This would be associated with the presence of a lump and pain.

In the early stages, the discharge is not fully formed so it is not ready to be incised but the definitive treatment of any abscess is incision and drainage.

Antibiotics may also be needed.
