What Causes Obstructive Sleep Apnea And Fatigue After Having Triple Bypass Surgery?

My 54 year old husband had triple bypass surgery last Tuesday morning. The surgeon says it was a success. He is so weak that he cannot stand, much less walk. I am hand feeding him. He cannot urinate without a cath. He had diabetes, neuropathy in his feet, and elevated kidney functions prior to surgery, as well as obstructive sleep apnea. Now they are saying he may need inpatient rehab for 4-6 weeks. I am trying to figure out what is going on and am getting no real answers. I would like to know what his probable outcome for recovery will be.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, in cardiac disease like ischemia with stent placed it may needs cardiac rehabilitation and it is much helpful for the patient for future life, and this is nothing to worry, it worth trying, in my opinion even much better than the medicines, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
