What Causes Occasional Heart Palpitations With Heaviness In The Chest?
Hello, I am having occasional heart palpitations - when I take my pulse I seem to be skipping a beat. Accompanied by a heaviness in the chest, throat - want to cough 63 years old male, good health. Occasional high blood pressure in the past. Not overweight, don t smoke, drink. Moderately active (office work).

Thanks for your query.
From the history you have given about palpitations, your pulse skips a beat and heaviness around your chest region. Your having some form of arrhythmia.
It could also possibly be Angina.
You need to see a cardiologist and possibly do an ECG test.
