What Causes Occasional Pain In The Head?

Occassional pain in the head
Hi Doc,
i had a fall about nine years ago and hit my back head on a stone slab. for a period of three months after the accident, i had serious head ache and pain at my back neck which reduced with time and gradually subsided. years after i started noticing some slight pain around that same part of my head and some occassional movements and pain inside my head or , as I suspect, my brain.

My question is, could this later experience be related to the accident? What medical examination do I need to under go in order to find out exactly what the problem is?

Thx

Ify

HI

Welcome to HCm

Well I personally feel that it can't be because of your past trauma . Anything can cause occasional headache , for example tension , stress , lack of sleep . eye strain , fever , sinusitis , migraine etc .

Unless its significantly bothering you there is no need to do any test . You can take a tablet of paracetamol. that's it .
But if you are really bothered and concerned then you need to get an MRI brain to know what exactly is causing you this pain .
