What Causes Occasional Sharp Pain In Left Testicle?

I am a 22yr old male in good physical health. Over the past 2ish years I have been experiencing occasional sharp/shooting pain above my left testicle (still in my sack). When it comes on, it will last a minute or two with off and on very quick shooting/sharp pain. Any diagnosis would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi.
Read your query and understood your problems.

The possible reasons for the sharp shooting pain in the left testicle can be due to nerve getting entrapped in the developing hernia, or there can be a epididymal cyst or mild torsion which gets corrected automatically.

I would advise you to get a physical examination done by an Urologist, ultrasonography with color doppler studies and correction of any defects hence found.
Till then stop any strenuous activities and use scrotal support.
I find this answer helpful
