What Causes Off And On Cramps During Pregnancy?
Dtr. in law 3 months along, learned 5 days ago ...via Nuchal fluid.. fluid around spinal cord,higheast risk factor , off the charts , 70% Downs, 50% heart, liver, kidney....abnormalities. Trisomy 21, structrual and developemental problems. This evening she is having cramping off and on. I believe this may be early labor. Do you think this is so? Dtr. in law 37 yr old..... 1st pregnancy. Never mind. I didn t know this would cost $.

3 months into her pregnancy? Premature labour at 3 minths gestational age is impossible, but if you are talking about her having 3 more months to go, then it could possibly be the case. But the more likely possibility is a hormonal influence. A drop in progestetone usually causes such a presentation and administration helps relieve the problem.
