General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be pharyngitis or sore throat.
As of now you can do warm saline gargles and start antibiotics preferably moxclav.
If symptoms persist better to consult an ENT specialist and plan for a throat swab.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
