What Causes Offensive Body Odour?

I have a friend who has a horrible body odor that smells like burned garbage from a dump .. dispite good hygiene habbits of showering 2 x a day, he carries around this horrible offensive odor. any suggestions? He does not take any medicates and his age is 25 to 35. Any help would be most appreciated.

can apply Garnier anti-perspirant deodrant..stay in cool weather.
Everyone has their own body odour by virtue of apocrine gland secretion.
