What Causes On And Off Fremitus On Knee?

Hi, for that last few months I have had on and off buzzing like fremitus of my left knee at the most lateral aspect of the patella. The feeling goes away with mild pressure from my finger on a pin point area. I have tried NSAIDs and tylenol, muscle relaxants and massage and non have helped. It is driving me nuts already and is preventing me from sleeping. Any ideas?
