What Causes On And Off Pain In Random Joints?

my wife age 32 two months back suddenly her right leg knee joint she felt pain and cannot move., and morning it went aways, and again 10 days after knee pain started and cannot move., i went to orthopaedician and he said may be chickun gunya . but she did not got fever.. next day she felt all joint pain. and she can manage that joint pain but. now 15 days back she got wrist pain in right hand and never pulling from wrist to fingers. she complains that thumb and in dex finger is numb feeling.
