Hi,

There are several possible causes of a one-sided headache with scalp itching and burning sensation, including:
* Migraine headache: Migraines are a common cause of one-sided headaches, and can be associated with scalp itching or burning sensation, as well as neck stiffness or pain. Other symptoms can include sensitivity to light or sound, nausea, and vomiting.
* Tension headache: Tension headaches can also cause a one-sided headache with scalp itching and a burning sensation. These headaches are often caused by stress or tension in the neck and shoulders and can be relieved by massage, relaxation techniques, or over-the-counter pain medications.
* Trigeminal neuralgia: This is a condition that affects the trigeminal nerve, which supplies sensation to the face and scalp. It can cause severe pain on one side of the face or head, along with burning or itching sensations.
* Occipital neuralgia: This condition affects the occipital nerves that are present from the spinal cord tip up to the scalp. It can cause pain on one side of the head, along with scalp itching or burning.
* Allergies or skin conditions: Itchy or burning sensations on the scalp can be caused by allergies or skin conditions like psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis. These conditions can also cause inflammation or irritation of the scalp, which can lead to headaches.

It is recommended to consult a healthcare provider to determine the underlying cause of the symptoms and receive appropriate treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
