Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Usually if the problem is at the ear level hearing may impaired lead to decrease the subjective hearing but no alterations in the questions. But in case of B12 deficiency or narcolepsy or drug abuse or auditory cortex problem means may answer differently. So please consult with your neurophysician / ENT specialist he will examine and find out the problem then treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
