Hi,

Hormonal imbalance caused by such tablets may cause abnormal vaginal bleeding but it should be evaluated by a gynecologist with a per vaginal examination and microscopy as well as culture and sensitivity testing of the discharge to rule out any bacterial or fungal infection. Meanwhile, stop the medicine till the cause isn't established.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
