What Causes Orange Colored Vaginal Bleeding After Having D And C?

I am 3 weeks postpartum and was just diagnosed today with a bladder infection. I had a sponge left in me after labour and had a bad infection and then ended up with tissue on my cervix and needed a D and C 5 days postpartum. Ive been ok after all of that until this bladder infection and now my blood is a tad orange. Is this normal?

hi healthcare magic user, it is very sad incident with you to have infection postpartum.
I need few more details to answer your questions what was reason to have D and C?retained placenta was their? is discharge foul smelling? is it associated with fever? is it associated with pain in abdomen? if I would have been your doctor Iwould had done pelvic ultrasound to see retained placenta, abcess, collection in Pelvis. I would had done blood cultures to rule out sepsis. I would had done high vaginal culture before starting antibiotics.
