What Causes Orange-red Colored Saliva And Vaginal Discharge?
I m a 53yr old female who is obese who feeds most on fish and meat bt active. I hv high blood pressure and use Amlodipine and Betaretic. I hv an orange red saliva in the morning and the same colour on my vaginal discharge. There is no pain at all. I m approaching menaupose and this discharge is occasionally. What causes this discomfort please help
There are 2 main explanations for orange-red colored saliva and vaginal discharge: 1. The coloring substance on medications you take at night time for high blood pressure 2. thrush
To check it out, first you need to run oral and vaginal swab testing to rule out infection first. If nothing, then, it's due to coloring substance, and you need to talk to your caring doctor to change therapy to check it out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
