What Causes Orange Tint In My Tongue?

ive noticed the last five days my tounge has a orange tint to it ..it does not come off with a toothbrush .. by the end of day its darker .. i have not changed any habits of mine .. should i be concerned or is there something that i can do to get rid of this ?

Hello!Welcome to HCM.

Orange color can be because of chromogenic bacterial growth.You did not mention your general health and if you are taking any medication.

Do not use caffeinated beverages.Reduce consumption of alcohol and tobacco.
Use a mild mouthwash.
increase water intake(3 liter per day).Use a tongue blade and maintain proper oral hygiene.

Consult your general physician if this persists more than a week.
