What Causes Orange Urine When Having Protein In Urine During Pregnancy?

im 35 weeks and 4 days preg with twins and i went into l&d last night for very painful contractions and im only dilated to 1 and 80%eff but they said i had protine in my pee and so now they are haveing medo a 24hr collection and my pee is orange .. why

Orange colored urine in more cases than not is related to the food or drinks you consume that have coloring agents in them. Try to recall any food products or drinks that could have possibly had the coloring agent in them. Another possibility is a mild bleed, which would have been detected during the urine analysis if at all present. As for the proteinuria, we will have to investigate this further along with possible edema and hypertension to be looked into.
