I have prolapsed orbital fat in my eye that’s coming forward obviously. I’m a healthy under age 20 y/o girl. I don’t have Glaucoma however it is in medical history. I have 20/20 vision. I haven’t had surgical trauma to the eye ever. I don’t know why I have this problem. Maybe my body is producing too much cortisol?

What Causes Orbital Fat Prolapse?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Orbital fat prolapse usually occurs in old age but can rarely be seen in young age. It can be fixed with surgery. Hope it helps.
