Hello,

It is good to know that you have been using hydrocortisone and antihistamines. Since there is no relieve and the blisters are increasing, it indicates contact dermatitis, skin allergy (due to water or some irritant with which you are in contact with). If sexually active with multiple partners get clinically examined and get STD tests done to rule out herpes or any other STI. Herpes is a common virus that can cause a rash of blistering sores on the skin. If you get positive reports, you will need a course of oral antibiotics and antivirals.

In the meantime, get all your clothes and bed sheets, laundry washed thoroughly in warm water and dried in sunlight. Take care of your hygiene, take regular showers but make sure that the water is clear and clean, you can add a few drops of Dettol, Savlon or neem oil so that you do not develop any type of skin sensitivity or allergy. If you think it is scabies (get examined by your local doctor or health care worker) then you can apply Ascabiol lotion in the area affected, leave it for 30-40 minutes and then take bath, repeat after 15 days. It should go away. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a dermatologist and get treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
