What Causes Outbreak Of Painful Lumps On Either Side Of Temples?

Hello, I am a 47 yo male, average health weight ,height and health, I didn t have acne during child hood, only the occasional spot breakout through out my life up to the present year, most recently I have had a regular breakout of painful headed spots on both of my temples, I have none anywhere else on my body? I am a keen cyclist spending on average about 5 hrs a week on the bike, I wear a helmet and skull cap, but these do not cover the areas where the spots occur. I have just finished a year long course of Citalopram (ssri s) 10mg/day mediation, about a month ago, with no immediate withdraw side effects, could you offer some direction please? Yours Mr Brown.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, at this time this could be infective boils and may not be acne again, and this can be well managed with 'Clindamycin" local application, try to keep the face clean, take care for hygiene, and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
