What Causes Outbreak Of Painful Rash On The Shoulder Blade?

I have a small but painful rash that broke out at the intersection of my chest and shoulder. I had seen it start from just a few bumps after having night sweats really bad. I felt really horrible the next day and today is day 3 and I wanted to see what may be the cause and I saw this site.

Hello,
It may be shingles. Shingles is a painful blistery rash that can occur in any adult that had chicken pox as a child. There are medications to help decrease the pain. See a doctor if this is extremely painful.
