What Causes Pain Above Temple?

my name is Mary and I have been having a sharp moving pain from above the left temple moving up about 2-3 inches. The sharp pains would come in waves for about 1 hour. It has been 10 hours and the sharp pain has stopped but the constant pressure and a pounding pain are still there. Now around the eye and left side of my face feels funny. Not really numb.

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to migraine. Have you had migraine headaches before? I recommend consulting with a neurologist for a physical exam. Performing a brain MRI may be needed. In the meantime, I recommend taking ibuprofen for the headaches.
