What Causes Pain Above The Right Ankle?

Any supplements, vitamins, glucosamine & chondroitin taken result in pain above my right ankle---like a screw hose clamp around my leg. These pills are white in color and pain comes 2-3 days after taking 1 pill. Takes 2-3 days for pain to go away. Does not matter what supplement, vit , etc.
