Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain Above The Right Eye, Tinnitus And Vomiting?
I ve had a headache for 3 days off and on. Mainly above my right eye. Day two and three I ve experienced vomiting due to headache, brought on my tension of trying to drive while straining my eyes. I ve taken otc ibuprofen and Aleve I suffer from tinnitus in my right ear and since headache the tinnitus has been more prominent
Straining of eyes accompanied by headache could be due to refractive error of eyes leading to strain of eye muscles. I suggest you consult your ophthalmologist for checking for any refractive error. Tinnitus occurs due to pathology in middle ear. For tinnitus, you need to consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment and investigations.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
