What Causes Pain And Bleeding From Ear?

hello i have a problem with my ear... i woke 2 days ago and i felt pain in my ear... then it starded hurting alot and making a popping sound... after my jaw starded hurting very much!!!!!! and i found something brown ( i think its blood) coming out my ear... im 14 and im very scared + i have an appoitment with the doctor tomorow but im scared this might be deadly!!!

Welcome to HCM.

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to solve it to the best of my knowledge and experience..

The symptoms of severe pain in ear along with popping of the ear and brown discharge from ear are pointing towards ear infection..

Popping of the ear is due to fluid behind the eardrum and blocked eustachian tube due to it...
You should not worry as it is not deadly..

Consult an ENT expert and get evaluated, he can do an Otoscopic examination of the ear for confirmation of cause..
You will be advised antibiotics like Augmentin, anti inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen,nasal decongestant spray like Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..

If not relieved in about 2 weeks,manual draining of ears by putting an incision in the eardrum and also placement of pressure equalization tubes that will maintain pressure on both sides of eardrum and also ease in drainage can be placed..
