What Causes Pain And Bleeding From Gums?

Hello, my gums started hurting today, while at work but I didn t think anything over it. I closley inspected it today and on my bottom gum on my left tooth are brown and White dots, when I touched them to see what it was , my gums started bleeding. Should I book a Emergancy dentist appointment or shall I leave it and see what happens? Thankyou

Hi...
Thanks for the query..

As per your query it seems as if you have infection in your gums and as you described white and brown dots it may be due to gingival abscess or a gum boil and white dots appears due to pustules and as it is an inflammed lesion it bleeds on touching itself..

Don't be too much worried as it will be cured by taking antibiotics and painkillers and by getting your gums cleaned (getting scaling done)by a dentist.

You should visit a dentist so that he can do your dental checkup and find out that it is any gum boil or just infection in gums..

In both the cases scaling and use of proper medication will solve the problem..

Try maintaining a good oral hygeine..

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards..
