What Causes Pain And Bleeding In The Vagina After Intercourse?

Hello, yesterday I lost my virginity. I m not experiencing any pain, but I am bleeding, mostly only after I wipe when I go to the bathroom. I just wanted to check that that was normal and ask, how long should I bleed for? Also is there anyway I can help my hymen to heal?

Hello dear
I understand you concern
Bleeding could be due to the hymen rupture.
Your hymen rupture will heal in the 3-4 days.
Pain and bleeding is normal after first sexual intercourse.
Take following advises:
avoid rough sex.
Use lidocaine gel and water based KY gel for proper lubrication.
Take warm water sitz bath with added betadine.
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene by using v vaginal plus wash
If not resolves then consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination to rule out the other cause like vaginal infection.
Hope this may help you
