What Causes Pain And Bruising On Foot After An Injury?

My daughter threw a sippy cup full of water on my fifth metatarsal bone last night, (about the middle) it hurts when I walk/put weight on it, but not so much that I can't walk. I can move my pinky toe but it feels different than it normally does, almost weaker. There was a small lump like a bone or vein that is still sitting there was not there before inncident where the cup hit. My whole foot is barely swollen and brusing is starting where the cup hit. I can pinpoint where it happened just from the pain. It is starting to hurt where my ankle and foot connect on the top. My husband is deployed and I don't want to drag my fifteen month old with me to the doc if I don't have to. But I will go if it would give me problems later on. does this sound like a soft tissue injury, dislocation, or fracture? Thanks!
