What Causes Pain And Burning Feeling In Throat While Eating Dry Food?

I went to our local doctor and ask her about the pain i have is when i eat something dry i have this burning sensation behind my throat..I did a little research and its called a GERP or reflux if Im right. And she prescribed me with some Flucloxacillin..Will these help my pain?

Dryness and burning throat pain could be due to pharyngitis secondary to sinusitis or acid reflux.
