As per your query you have pain in the chest along with burning sensation . Well the symptoms you mention in query is probably occurring due to acid reflux or gastrointestinal reflux disease . I would suggest you to avoid spicy and heavy meals specially at night , eat atleast one hour before going to bed , keep your head elevated while sleeping and take antacid like gelusil after every meal . Consult gastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order endoscopy of upper respiratory track , x-ray of upper respiratory track , acidity test and will take history . Doctor may prescribe H2 blockers , proton pump inhibitor and drug like sucralfate for healing of lining of esophagus . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist to rule out if there is any cardiac problem .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
