What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Abdomen?

I have been having stomach pain on and off for a few weeks. It is often a burning feeling, sometimes stabbing, quick pains, and it is sore, as if I had been lifting, or stretching. It seems to happen randomly, and I can t pinpoint foods that affect it; when I feel like this, I don t want to eat anyway. I have taken Mylanta tablets, and when I do relieve gas, I feel better.
