General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

This looks like you have "meralgia paresthetica". There is a nerve that supplies the skin of our thigh. It can be sometimes trapped in the ligament through its course which causes burning pain in the thigh.

This is called meralgia paresthetica.

Mostly not a serious issue and heals itself. But you may need to do some physiotherapy for it. If the pain is severe, see your doctor as painkillers needed sometimes for a while.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
