What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Vagina?

hello, i have had vaginal itching and burning. very much in pain since last week...doctor said she will wait for the results to come in for my vaginal exam she did. Called today but the labs were not in, told her i can t with the pain and itchiness and she gave me the one day pill but i took that around 3 and no effect yet. she told me not to use the cream because i had used the one day one and it didn t work. what should i do, its late at night and can t with this pain, can t sleep

Understand your concern
I think following possibility: vaginal infection mostly fungal infection,
Contact dermatitis, vulvovaginitis,cervicitis.
You can go for vaginal swab test and urine testing to confirm the cause.
Take following advice:
Take single dose treatment of azithromycin + flucanazole +tinidazole.
Take anti-inflammatory and antihistamine drug
Use vaginal suppository of clotrimazole plus clindamycin.
Wash your vagina with warm salted water 2-3 times/day and then apply apple cidar vinegar.
Wear pure cotton loose inner wear.
Avoid excessive sweets, drink plenty of water and take lactobacillus orally.
