What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In Vagina Despite Taking Zithromax After Sex?

After sex, I have been experiencing the symptoms of a UTI. After treating it, I have experienced strong burning. After treating the burning, symptoms of a UTI returned, and itching returned when those symptoms passed. I have taken azo and zytromax, and now my vagina is painful to the touch and looks inflamed. What is my disease?

Hello
This sounds like vaginosis--a vaginal bacterial infection.
That would require a course of Flagyl after getting cultures so you need to see your doctor for an exam, cultures, and appropriate antibiotics for that
