What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation On The Lower Part Of The Leg?

Hello, I have burning sensations on the lower part of my leg. The dr said I have skin infection. No signs of redness, swelling, clots, or numbness. On antibiotics to treat this problem after 3 days of medication don t know if this is working. I have pain medication I really feel it s something else going on. My arm continues to hurt as well. I really hope this infection is not due to a bug bite causing so much pain.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history you are having vitamin b12 deficiency.
My treatment advice is -
1. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region twice daily.
2. Take good nutritious diet full of green leafy vegetables and milk.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
MBBS, DDVL.
