What Causes Pain And Cracking Sound In Knee After An Injury?

i got my knee taken out from behind in a football game a few years ago and it still hurts to this day..it cracks a lot and i can no longer juke or it kind of..i dont know collapses...and walking up steps it cracks and is sore in the mornings...what could it be?
