What Causes Pain And Difficulty While Walking?

Hi, about 10 days ago I had an accident with my dog. He ran into me full force he s 110 Golden Retriever and all muscle. I went flying. I landed on the side of my leg. It didn t bruise and I didn t even get a scrap. But it hurts to walk still and difficult to do stairs. What do you think? Thank you so much for your time and advice! Michele

Hi,

Very likely you have bruised or hurt a muscle. You can take Ibuprofen every 6 hours after food to help with pain and can also add paracetamol every 6 hours with it. Use local warm compresses at the painful area to help relax muscles. Seeing a physiotherapist may be helpful to identify the painful muscles and have exercises to help them relax and strengthen.
If you are not able to bear weight on your leg then you will need to see a doctor soon.

Hope I have answered your query.
