What Causes Pain And Discomfort In Lower Pelvic Area And Nausea?

Hi, the last three days I ve been experiencing a gurgling/popping feeling in my uterus and around both ovaries. Kind of like my uterus is hungry. Occasionally there is some sharp pain. I finished my period two weeks ago. Along with the mild cramping, I get waves of nausea but I never throw up. Am I feeling myself ovulating? Nobody seems to be taking it as seriously as I am.. My doctor says it s just stress.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The nausea and cramps are not much related to ovulation but more to pregnancy. Do a pregnancy home test at least 5 days of delayed period. Also you can do an ultrasound to check ovaries because nausea and cramps are common in polycystic ovaries syndrome.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
