What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Arms And Legs While On Mexiletine?
I have been on Mexiletine for 6 months and for the past 3-4 months I have increased arms,legs, difficult getting up, pain during the night in one position and movement and increased blurred vision. I was put on the drug due to several leg cramps, Charley horse. It has helped with the cramps but above condition get worse. I also had a case of shingles5 months. Could this cause the same symptoms?

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
