Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

After going through your medical query I understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that if you are experiencing pain on pacemaker implantation site then it can be due to infection development can be there which is serious and needs proper evaluation. If you have pain in chest near heart it can be due to underlying another heart disease which again requires evaluation. It's recommended for you to get a basic cardiac evaluation , an ECG and Echocardiography and pacemaker interrogation done and personally consult a cardiologist for physical evaluation of Pacemaker site.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
